My New Car Mix Tape

Friday, October 3, 2008

As previously mentioned I consider my first car to be a fairly major step in the growing up/life process.

So this evening I’ve put together a mix tape for my first journey. Here it is!

Comments welcome.

A loud beginning…
Wake Up – Arcade Fire (this one’s for Steve)
Ladies and Gentlemen – Saliva (p.s. that song isn’t actually ‘explicit’)
15 Step – Radiohead (I paid £3, what did you pay?)
Propane Nightmares – Pendulum (I like D&B…?)
Big Casino – Jimmy Eat World (Gotta love the Jew…)
Dig – Incubus (Ask the Americans)
Always Be – Jimmy Eat World

The slow section begins…
Gone in the Morning – Newton Faulkner
How to Save a Life – The Fray
Falling Slowly – The Frames (I hated it first time, thanks Connor)
I Will Follow You Into the Dark – Death Cab for Cutie (Best worst name ever)

And a bit of ‘old school’ action
Beat Mama – Cast (You recognise it from 5 Live)
Chelsea Dagger – Fratellis (Hockey Playoffs fun)
Dizzy – Goo Goo Dolls (CLASSIC)
Closer – Kings of Leon (Yes, I bought a Kings of Leon album, never thought I’d see the day)
Everything you Want – Vertical Horizon (QUALITY, Cool FM Classic!)

and finishing with…
Shine – Matt Redman
