DromoreCathedral.co.uk Redesign

I’m in the process of redesigning the dromorecathedral.co.uk site, and yes, it looks like it might actually come out the other side this time. I’m going to move the current site from its’ PHP cutenews base to (probably) Textpattern; or maybe something simpler from the User perspective.

Sneaky peek of the site:

The Worst Week in the World, Ever! Five

It was hand in week for my Advanced Group Project module. Andy C, Drew, Connor and I were in a group and our project of choice (it had to be a game) was Backgammon.

backgammon project research

We *did* start it four to five weeks ago and coding in earnest about 3 weeks ago, but the most mad work was done in the past few days.

Long allnighters this week etc, here’s my timetable. Cry with me, go on….

Monday 8am – 10pm
Tuesday 8am – midnight
Wednesday midnight – 9am
SLEEP 9am – 11am
Wednesday 11.30 am – midnight
Thursday midnight – 1pm
SLEEP 1 30pm – 5.45 pm
Thursday 8pm – midnight
Friday midnight – five pm.

That was quite a week, and I’m ready to stop complaining about it now, this is my official end of complaining.

Done.

SixStarHotel

I was reading Radar and came across local band six star hotel. Recording at Abbey Road studios and releasing their debut full length album in the new year (with an indie label) produced by Rocky O’Reilly (whoever he is, but with a name like that…).

Oh yeah, and Matt the bassist is my Dad’s second cousin (surname Gordon I think)’s second cousin’s nephew. Tenuous? Yes, I think so.
