Busy Camp Busy

So I intended to journal each day, as you saw below. But camp is very very busy.

h3. New Guitar

After buying my new guitar a fortnight ago (Gibson Songwriter Deluxe) I’ve broken four strings (three of which were the same one, yes Pete, G!) so going to experiment with heavier gauges.

h3. Camp

Last week had one of the craziest weeks of my life, twelve 2nd-4th Grade kids in my cabin, finaléed by a visit from the DoH and a huge thunderstorm wiping out the centre electricity and phone lines made it very stressful and quite hard to prepare a video presentation.

h3. Day Off

It was very nice to get a day off today and head into Saratoga, more precisely Wilton Mall, as if you’ve ever been to real-America you’ll realise towns (though Saratoga is an exception) generally don’t have shops in the middle and you need to go to The Mall. Got a hair cut and tried to find a rain coat (for anti-thunderstorm purposes) but to no avail. Walmart, Old Navy, nowhere seemed to have any… Oh well. Wet it is.

Off for pizza dinner, will have to eat something non-greasy at some point this month.
